Welcome to Lone Star Vision, an innovative Plano eye care practice dedicated to excellent customer service and patient care since 1997. We have two locations to better serve our patients, one in Plano and our newest location in Celina. Our office is honored to be the recipient of the Consumers’ Choice Award for Optometrists and Eye Wear in DFW for the past five consecutive years. Lone Star Vision serves the eye care needs for the entire family by offering advanced technology, a wide selection of designer eyewear, an on-site optical lab, and an unparalleled selection of contact lenses.
Dry Eye Syndrome is a chronic inflammatory condition that affects millions of patients and is caused by the eye's reduced ability to produce tears. Fortunately, we have wonderful ways to treat dry eyes. Symptoms of dry, red, itchy, burning, watery eyes, and irritation are the most common medical reasons people visit their eye doctor. Lone Star Vision has an arsenal of treatments to help manage chronic dry eye including artificial tears, prescription eye drops, nutritional supplements, and punctual plugs.
Lone Star Vision has become the only retailer in North Texas to offer Enchroma glasses, an advanced eyewear product to correct color deficiency. Stop by our office if you believe you may benefit from this incredible technology.
Lone Star Vision is a proud supporter of World Sight Day Challenge and received the Platinum Award for the second year in a row. Our office helped many other eye care offices across the country raise over $300,000 for projects that provide vision care, local training and infrastructure support for people who are blind or vision impaired due to uncorrected refractive error – simply the need for an eye exam and a pair of glasses.
For more information about World Sight Day Challenge, please visit this link to see why we are actively involved in such a great fundraising campaign each year in October. Thank you for helping us make a significant impact in the lives of so many less fortunate across the world.
